Cookie project on heat hold....

So I had grand plans back in December to try to work through the Martha Stewart Cookie Cookbook and finally learn to bake. Well it hasn't happened yet, but it will. Now I have some time and inspiration but with the excessive heat warning here in Arizona, baking cookies would go against my strict no oven policy in the summer.
